Tanner is a member of the Applied Geomorphology Lab and is advised by Dr. Peter Moore in the Natural Resources and Ecology Management Department. Tanner’s area of expertise is stream restoration/ fluvial geomorphology and his master’s work focuses on the effects of stream bank stabilization on point bar accretion on the West Nishnabotna River in southwest, Iowa.
