Bio

I am a current M.S. student working with Dr. William Gallus. I received my first M.S. in Water Resource Management from the Polytechnic University of Iran. My passion is learning non-linear thinking for complex human-natural systems by involving interdisciplinary research that aligns with my background.

I am happy and thankful that Dr. William Gallus has given me an excellent opportunity to be involved as a student in interdisciplinary and collaborative research, as I will begin in January 2023 to work on an NSF-supported project on responding to the Arctic housing crisis. In this project, we will be examining region-specific future climate scenarios for complex housing challenges. The research group is looking for a housing adaptation framework to address permafrost thaw, stormwater issues, and energy burden in Alaska housing. My role will be to use Arctic-CORDEX climate model output to explore changes in weather variables that impact the above items affecting housing.
